XCL Vote

The one and only XCL and FTHT Blockchains. Anything else is fake.

Instructions:

Creating a Proposal

  1. Connect Your Wallet: Ensure your Ethereum wallet (compatible with BSC, like MetaMask) is connected to the Binance Smart Chain network.
  2. Navigate to ‘Add a New Proposal’: Find the form under this section.
  3. Fill Out the Proposal Form:
    • Enter a brief description of your proposal in the “Description” field.
    • Choose an end time and date for the voting period in the “End Timestamp” field.
  4. Submit the Proposal: Click the “Submit” button. Your wallet will prompt you to confirm the transaction.
  5. Pay Gas Fees: Ensure you have BNB in your wallet to cover gas fees. Confirm the transaction in your wallet.

Voting on a Proposal

  1. Find an Open Proposal: Look at the “Current Proposals” section to find proposals you can vote on.
  2. Navigate to ‘Vote on a Proposal’: Find the form under this section.
  3. Enter the Proposal ID: Input the ID number of the proposal you want to vote on.
  4. Select Your Vote: Choose “Yes” or “No” for your vote.
  5. Submit Your Vote: Click the “Vote” button. Your wallet will prompt you to confirm the transaction.
  6. Pay Gas Fees: If you receive a JSON-RPC error, increase your gas fee to about 13 cents worth of BNB. Confirm the transaction in your wallet.

Viewing Proposal Results

  • After the end timestamp of a proposal, you can check its status in the “Current Proposals” section to see if it passed or failed.

Important Notes:

  • Token Balance Requirement: You must hold XCL tokens to create proposals.
  • Browser and Wallet Compatibility: Use a web browser that supports Ethereum wallet extensions (like Chrome with MetaMask).
  • Network Selection: Ensure your wallet is set to the Binance Smart Chain network.
  • Gas Fees: Keep an eye on BNB balance for gas fees, especially if you encounter transaction errors.

This interface allows XCL token holders to actively participate in community governance by proposing and voting on key decisions. Remember, blockchain transactions are irreversible, so double-check your inputs before confirming any transaction.
